Considering  that we had very few fishers in until the mid way through the month I was quite pleased with the figures, especially the Seatrout/Finnock.

 The month was much colder than last year,( so much for global warming! ) with East and North winds and snow during the second week.

However it brightened up towards the end of the month and fish were caught.

304 Brown Trout were caught with the best being, 2.5lb to Ken Lindsay and 2.75lb to Kevin Barnett.

10 Seatrout/Finnock were caught with some early good fish in evidence including one of 2.5lb to Kit Read and 5 between 1.5lb and 2lb, good going for a cold and fairly dry month.
