David Ardrey with his 4lb Brown Trout

Another dry month with changeable weather conditions taking place, wind getting gusty at times.  Fishing was quite steady during the month with some fly life about.  1168 fish were caught during the month the best being 4lb to David Ardrey off Little Dour on the 16th May.  John Gregory took a nice fish of 1lb 15oz on the 16th May off Finlaysons and Bob Jeavons took a fish of 1lb 1.5oz from Nan Uidh on the 20th May.

Otherwise fish of 12oz to 1lb were plentiful and in very good condition.  Favourite flies were Red Arsed Green Peters, Black Zulus, Black Pennel, Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear, Loch Ordie, Soldier Palmer.

As I write this a thunder storm is brewing, lets hope we have some much needed rain!!
