The 7th October saw the end of our season and Scottish Television were at the hotel from the 28th September until the 8th October filming a ten part fishing series hosted by Nick Hancock and Jon Beer and due to go out on ITV and Discovery Channel during the Spring and Summer of 2007. The filming went well and the weather was kind to us. Hosting 20 STV executives, cameramen, sound recorders, presenters and of course the six guests of STV who were being taught to fly fish under the spotlight of the cameras was good fun and we found STV very professional and very easy to get along with. They showed great concern and respect for other guests, the ghillies and the Hotel fishings. They can come again!

During the month 370 brown trout were recorded in the fishing log.

74 seatrout/finnock were caught and returned, the best being 5lb to the Franklin party.

17 salmon were caught with 14 being returned.

I will write the end of year report during November.
