A September Brown Trout

Very high winds during the month with plenty of water many fishing days lost due to the high winds and driving rain.

312 brown trout recorded in the fishing log best 2lb 8oz to Mr.dow off Fregairt beat on the 20th of the month.

58 seatrout/finnock were caught and Released the best being 4lb(approx) to richard cave-bigley on the 22nd of the month, his father also caught two salmon of 6lb and 5lb on the same day off the river polla

On another matter, one of the hotel fishing logs, running from 1956 tothe 1970s dissappeared during late september, if anyone knows where it is i would like to know. I am sure a reward is available as we now do not have complete records from 1912 to the present time.

Our season is now over and all the boats are in.
